Hi, I'm LaToya Anderson Robinson
WHERE I COME FROM
Hello, my name is LaToya Robinson, a candidate for Putnam County Board Of County Commissioner district 2. I am a 4th generation native of Palatka, mother of five, grandmother of two and loved wife. Since graduating from high school, I left Palatka several times and returned in 2004, worked 17 years in child welfare, and I am currently a licensed registered mental health counselor intern.
My "AHA Moment"
My aspiration in life is to be the best person I can be, with respect, integrity, and determination. Working in Putnam County, I have the opportunity to talk to a variety of people of different ages and backgrounds, and work with families to determine their needs for growth and stability. Advocating for children and families provided me with a skillset to engage and be solution focused versus incident focused. So, as I was pondering this one day in 2020, I had an aha moment and I went into a solution focused mindset, be a part of the decision-making team. In 2021, my thought became a reality when I filed to be your next county commissioner for district 2. I can offer honest deliberation where I will consider all factors and decide on what’s best for community gain and not a personal gain. Just as you, I wish to see growth in all areas of our community, and I need your vote and support to build bridges for a better Putnam.

Where we all can unite and understand differences, come together to build a stronger Putnam. I am passionate about youth, and I am running because I believe they need to have a strong community to thrive. We cannot afford another two years of our county being status quo.
